According to an industry source close to the tech site TweakTown, it seems that AMD intends to produce no more than 5000 units of the Radeon VII. To add even more fuel to this fire, the source alleges that the semiconductor maker is not allowing its AiB partners to manufacturer their own custom cooled variants of the graphics card. While we would like to tell you to take this bit of news with a the usual sprinkling of salt, it’s important to note that AMD on its part hasn’t outright denied these rumours....

The state government came to a conclusion to allow the new rule to be applied after a meeting was held at the Sabah COVID-19 Command Centre earlier today on 30 April 2020. “In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (No. 4) Regulations 2020, one is allowed to be accompanied by another person to go out and obtain essential items such as food, medicine and any need, provided that the accompanying person is living in the same house,” said Sabah state secretary Datuk Safar Untong in a statement....

South Korean portal Naver reports that Samsung filed a patent for a smart ring with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) last year, which was granted earlier in July. The description of the ring includes capabilities like heart rate and blood pressure measurement, thanks to the built-in electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as a form of photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor. These would presumably be in addition to the usual health monitoring stuff like sleep tracking and SpO2w monitoring....

Size-wise, the Samsung Freestyle looks to be pretty substantial. But it does come with a fair range of features to justify its size. To start, it is capable of creating images of between 30 to 100 inches. It also comes with an auto-setup system, which involves a built-in time-of-flight sensor and a 3-axis accelerometer. Together they help the projector calibrate itself to the surface it’s aimed at, from auto-keystone and auto-levelling to focusing....

Twitter user @Sudhanshu1414 has shared the apparent spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy A53, which features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display. It’s chipset is noted to be an Exynos 1280, which is new. As it turns out, the boxset might be on its way to Malaysia too. According to a listing by E.S.H Electrical, each pre-order of Galaxy A80 will be accompanied by the Blackpink Special Edition Boxset as well as a Galaxy Fit 2019 fitness tracker. At the time that this article is published, we are not aware of any other retailer aside from E.S.H Electrical that is offering such pre-order giftset for the phone....

ORIGINAL STORY (1227PM): Even though the global unveiling of Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) took place in Malaysia, it has not yet been made available in our market. That about to change this week as the company has revealed that the phone which features four rear cameras can be obtained in Malaysia later this week. According to Samsung Malaysia’s official website, the new phone will be made available starting from this Friday, 23 Nov at the Galaxy A9 (2018) Consumer Launch Roadshow in One Utama as well as Gurney Plaza in Penang and City Square in Johor Bharu....

The rumour about the earbuds was first posted by Twitter user Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), but fell short of providing any further details in his tweet. Jambor wasn’t the only source to tweet about this, though; SamMobile, as well as Twitter user SnoopyTech (@snoopytech), claimed that they too, had found online listings for the upcoming accessory. And that the listing was the window the wireless earbuds are expected to go on sale, plus the colours in which they will be available in....

To start, we have confirmation that the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will indeed have active noise cancelling (ANC). One of the earlier reports on the TWS buds mentioned that it will not have this feature, which was confusing to say the least. At any rate, the feature being present is certainly good news. Then there’s the other end of the spectrum, which is ambient noise. For this, there are three levels, which is great....

The online news site says that Samsung recently placed a production order to one of its partners in the last few days. For parts that are supposedly needed for the construction of the Galaxy Fold 2. The timing of the new launch is interesting as well; August is also the month where Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. The Korean publication is also suggesting that the foldable smartphone will be recycling the same Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) display that first appeared with its other foldable device, the Galaxy Z Flip....

According to The Verge, images of the devices were briefly shared online as a mistake, and were soon removed at the behest of Samsung under the pretence of confidentiality. As a comparison, last month’s deal saw the flagship model being offered at RM3,199. Given that the launch price of the device is RM4,299, this means that customers can save RM1,300 through July’s offer from Samsung Malaysia. For those who prefer the higher-end Galaxy Note20 Ultra though, there is no additional discount at the moment. That being said, the current deal is still quite significant as Samsung is currently offering the device at RM4,099 which is RM1,100 less than its original launch price of RM5,199....

According to the report, the upcoming 2020 Galaxy flagship is confirmed to sport the exceptionally large 108MP ISOCELL sensor, along with three additional camera sensors in its primary module. That reportedly includes an ultrawide lens and 5x optical zoom, as well as a TOF (time-of-flight) sensor, similar to the one currently employed by the Galaxy Note10+. Specifically, the page – which has since been taken down – initially named two devices by their SKU numbers, MZ-77Q8T0B/AM and MZ-77Q1T0B/AM. One of which could replace its 108MP Bright HMX sensors for flagship smartphones by offering a whopping 200MP in capture resolution.
