Additionally, Graviton2 features a 64-cores layout, as opposed to the initial rumours that the CPU will be powered half that number at 32-cores. In terms of frequency, the Athlon 3000G has default base clock of 3.5GHz and three Radeon Vega 3 Graphics integrated graphics cores. Like its Ryzen counterparts, one of the main appeals of the processor is that it is unlocked and therefore can be overclocked. Mind you, the processor isn’t based on AMD’s 7nm Zen 2 architecture, but rather, it is built using last generation’s 14nm first-generation Zen CPU architecture. At US$49 (~RM202), the Athlon 3000G is by far one of the most affordable entry-level CPU on the current market, with a far better price-to-performance ratio than its direct Intel counterpart, the Pentium G5400....

The 3990X was announced earlier today and picked up by AnandTech. According to the in-depth tech site, the HEDT CPU will feature 64-cores, 128-threads, a 256MB L3 cache, and a TDP of 280W. To be extremely specific, the 3990X will effectively be the high-end equivalent of the AMD’s workstation-grade EPYC 7742 CPU. In turn, means that the CPU has a total of eight chiplets soldered on, with each chiplet running with 8-cores each....

According to TechPowerUp (TPU), AMD’s other two Navi generation of GPUs are the Navi 12 and Navi 14. Navi 14 is expected to be used in the production of the company’s mainstream GPU production. Specs-wise, the GPU would have between 4GB and 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and would have a TDP consumption from 120W and 150W. Oh, and the GPU will reportedly have a 128-bit memory bus. Moving on, the Navi 12 is expected to be the high-end or enthusiast-level Navi GPU....

According to sources, AMD’s Ryzen Threadrippers CPUs with its Zen 2 architecture were noticeably absent from the slide of a recent 2019 roadmap that was issued to the company’s investors earlier last week. It’s an odd development, especially since the CPU was listed in the previous roadmap lineup, albeit without an average timeline. There are a number of reasons as to why AMD has pulled out its next-generation HEDT CPUs from its roadmap at this time....

To be specific, the Pocket works with Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance cartridges right out of the box. And with the help of an adapter, you can also plug in cartridges for game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx as well. Analogue says that the pocket is made using two filed-programmable gate arrays (FPGA). This means its innards are engineered to mimic the original gaming devices, so there’s no emulation going on there....

Based on the information that we received from our own test units which received the Android 10 upgrade, the update was rolled out on 28 November and is almost 2GB in file size. Other than new features and tweaks to existing apps, it also comes with the December security update. Some new features in this update include new gesture controls for Full Screen Navigation, and the new Live Captions feature where any video, podcast, or audio message that you’re playing on your phone can be automatically captioned for reading....

Now there seems to be a renewed effort by one anti-piracy group, Rights Alliance, who wants to shut down the piracy group. To do that, the group decided to hire a VPN expert to help with its first step: finding out the exact location of The Pirate Bay and its servers. Since the crackdown on illegal torrent site years ago, The Pirate Bay and its founders have been actively masking its exact location, making it difficult for authorities – both at home and abroad – to trace and hunt them down....

On the surface, the illicit gambling app, Jungle Runner 2k21, takes on the form of a simple side-scrolling platform game, catered towards children. As we mentioned, the only way you’ll gain access is if you have the right password. In this case, you’ll actually need to be in the right country to gain access to the den or at least, pretend to be in the “right” country via the VPN, which is exactly what Eleftheriou did....

Specifically, the new graphics option come in the form of AMD Radeon Pro Vega GPUs. Prior to this, the MacBook Pro was only available with either AMD Radeon Pro 555X or Radeon Pro 560X and these options are also limited to the 15-inch models. Apple stated that the new Radeon Pro Vega GPUs provide up to 60 percent graphics improvements. That being said, the company didn’t reveal further details regarding the specific Radeon Pro Vega GPU models that will be made available to consumers....

The patent describes giving keys on keyboards individually controllable variable internal illumination. This is to supposedly improve user experience and increase potential for feedback to a user. Part of the patent reads “variable internal illumination of keys may provide improved user experience and information output”. That said, the patent doesn’t mention what sort of feedback this could provide, nor what kind of improved user experience this tech will bring....

At launch, Apple noted that the support for American Express (AMEX) cards was already in the works and it is finally available to users now. Of course, there are actually not many local AMEX cards around though. With the inclusion of AMEX cards, the list of Maybank cards that are compatible with Apple Pay has now grown from 36 to 49 cards. At the same time, the bank has also sent an SMS to inform customers regarding its AMEX card support for the feature....

According to AppleInsider, the customer review section was removed from the United States, United Kingdom, and Australian Apple online stores, which suggests that it was an intentional decision made by the company. We’ve also checked the Malaysian online store and can confirm that the section has been removed as well. By using Wayback Machine for reference, you’ll be able to notice that “Reviews & Ratings” section was still present in the archived 16 November Apple Pencil page on the Malaysian Apple online store, while it is no longer to be found if you refer to the same page (screenshot also provided below) at this current time....

However, the stay of execution, which was issued by the appeals court earlier this week, is not a reversal of an earlier ruling, where the US Court ruled in favour of its plaintiff, Epic Games, that Apple’s in-app payment exclusivity is nothing short of illegal. What it does mean, though, is that Epic’s attempt to get its own payment method for Fortnite reinstated on iOS will simply have to wait a few months....

Unlike the company’s usual events that we’re accustomed to, WWDC usually covers Apple’s upcoming software offerings for the year. These include updates and new features that are inbound to its iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS platforms. The Cupertino-based tech firm did not disclose what are the highlights to be expected from the event, but noted that it will be “the biggest and best yet.” New hardware announcements during a WWDC keynote are rare but not unheard of....

Specifically, the existing customers with 10Mbps and 20Mbps plan will be upgraded to 30Mbps. Their monthly fee for Internet will also be lowered to RM 89. Customers with 30Mbps line on another hand will also receive the price reduction at the same time but no upgrade will be done on their connection. However, they do have the option to move on to 100Mbps plan which will be offered starting from January 2019....

There is nothing you can do about it according to Astro as the company noted in question 17 that it reserved the rights to make amendments to its packages. To defend its new policy, Astro pointed out in question 16 that new contents from Disney+ Hotstar added more value to its Movies Pack and the company even claimed that it is the “best bundle deal in town”. In many ways, Astro should have worded its original announcement much clearer by noting that there will be a price hike through the inclusion of the new streaming service....

The RTX 3070 Noctua Edition uses a dual-fan configuration and more importantly, the fans that are attached to the card are NF-A12x25 fans that have been fine-tuned to run with an ideal performance-to-noise ratio. Further, and in true Noctua fashion, the card’s aesthetics are painted in the brand’s iconic brown and off-white themes, while the cooler shroud itself helps them look like its case fans. Performance-wise, Noctua says that its fans will produce 10dB lower sound pressure level, compared to an ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 OC Edition....

Starting with the TUF Gaming series, ASUS will be releasing two versions of the card, an OC edition and standard, non-OC edition. In terms of clockspeeds, the non-OC edition will have a gaming mode and OC mode boost clock of 1710MHz and 1740MHz, respectively. While the boost clocks of the TUF Gaming OC edition of the RTX 3080 is set at 1785MHz for its gaming mode and 1815MHz for its OC Mode....
