Business Insider reports that Google has stopped the production of two unreleased tablets. These were supposed to be devices smaller than the 12.3-inch Pixel Slate. Both were supposed to be released after 2019. But when quality assurance testing didn’t meet the company’s standards, Google decided to scrap them, along with its entire tablet production line. A spokesperson for the company also said that the Pixel Slate itself will not have a successor, as a result....

The new ‘Busyness Information’ feature was first introduced during Google’s Search On live stream event that was held recently. As seen in the screenshot below, Google Maps will now be equipped with a Busier Than Usual and As Busy As It Gets indicator under a locations name. As an add-on to the Busyness Information feature, Google Maps will also be embedded with the ability to notify users on how congested a particular area is even while they are navigating there....

As written on Google’s page, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will still be entitled to unlimited backups to Photos, but only at the “high quality” setting. For the uninitiated, this option automatically compresses any and all images uploaded to Photos, instead of their original sizes. Google’s move is a bit of a surprise, especially since the offer of uploading uncompressed, full-sized images to its cloud, free of charge, has been an important purchasing point for Pixel owners....

For the average user, Google says that you can access My Ad Center and most of its features directly from ads you see on Search, Discover and YouTube. From the example that the company provides, if you see an ad about traveling and would like to see less of it, all you have to do is hit the tree-dot menu, then choose to see less of these kinds of ads....

The new Stadia controller looked almost exactly like the patent that came into light recently. While its design is rather common, what made the controller unique is the fact that it is equipped with the dedicated Share button that allows gamers to seamlessly stream their game session to YouTube. Additionally, there’s also another dedicated button specifically for Google Assistant. By pressing this button, it will activate the controller’s built-in microphone and allows gamers to use voice commands for certain actions such as to search for YouTube videos, initiate a game session, connect to a multiplayer game, and many more....

According to Android Police, Driving Mode technically allows users to capture Street View imagery data, without the need for a 360-degree camera installed in their device. In addition, the mode may also blur faces and car license plate to preserve the privacy of the individuals caught on camera. That said, there is still no word on how Google plans to improve the quality of the Street View data contributed from different devices....

The minister added that the mix and match approach should be implemented this month along with booster doses. Those already vaccinated but are categorised in the high risk groups, such as frontliners, those with comorbidities, and the elderly, are set to receive an additional dose of COVID-19 vaccines. Vaccine mixing has been in the works for months, with studies by the University of Oxford reporting that combos would induce a stronger immune response and better protection....

Annoucing on Twitter, Rockstar Games claims that the games remain unavailable as the publisher removes “files unintentionally included in these versions”. The company did not include details as to what they are. The company announced that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will also be pulled from mobile app stores on 6 December. Those who have already downloaded the game will still be able to continue playing, up until the end of January. According to Videocardz, it seems that the two lower-tier CMP HX models, the 30HX and 40HZ, will be based on NVIDIA’s previous generation Turing GPU, which made its debut back in 2018. Specifically, the Turing TU116 and TU106. As for the CMP HX50, that mining card will be based on the TU102, which if you’re familiar with the lingo, is the top-tier variant of the Turing architecture. As for the CMP 90HX, reports hint at this particular mining card to be based on the current Ampere GPU lineup and more specifically, the GA102....

However, HMD Global didn’t reveal any further information regarding the tablet aside from that it will be officially launched on 6 October. Through these teasers, HONOR Malaysia has generally confirmed that the three phones are called X9 5G, X8, and X7. The company has since revealed the specs for each phone on its website. We have previously discussed how these phones are generally the international variants of several models that have been made available in China last year. In addition to that, the official specs for X8 have been revealed before as the phone has been launched in UAE....

According to the MyIPO database, the HongMeng trademark was filed on 24 May 2019 under Class 9 and 4 which pretty much covers all the bases, as far as an operating system goes. According to Reuters, Huawei has also filed for a trademark of the HongMeng name in Europe and at least nine other countries....
