The suppliers in question are, reportedly, TSMC and Samsung, with the former seemingly receiving the bulk of the orders for the 7nm and 5nm die lithographies. Specifically, NVIDIA had put in a massive order for the Taiwan-based foundry to produce 7nm chips. That will be used to produce the next-generation Ampere GPU lineup, which in turn may include the successor to the current GeForce RTX series lineup. In addition, the report also says that NVIDIA has also called dibs on a large portion of TSMC’s 5nm process nodes, a move that suggests the GPU company is future-proofing it production lineup for the GPU architecture that is to succeed Ampere, codenamed Hopper....

The demonstration comes in the form of Bethesda and id Software’s DOOM Eternal, and more to the point, the demo was conducted with the game running at 4K resolution. As a comparison point, NVIDIA also pitted the RTX 3080 against a Turing-powered graphics card, the RTX 2080 Ti. As you can see from the video, both cards had no issue holding their respective framerates above the 60fps mark while running at 4K....

Finally, Disney has just made it official. During the company’s annual D23 Expo (happening right now), it was announced that Obi-Wan Kenobi will be a series that will drop on the Disney+ streaming service, set to launch in the US on November 12. From the image posted by Shen, the new OPPO watch features a curved display encased in a gold metallic case. HP security researchers have discovered a fake Windows 11 download site that mimicked the legitimate one. It even came with the “Download Now” button, but clicking on it downloads a suspicious zip file instead. It was registered shortly after Microsoft announced that “The upgrade offer to Windows 11 is entering its final phase of availability”. And the fact that it was relatively new was what caught the researchers’ attention. Contained inside said suspicious zip file is what’s known as the RedLine Stealer malware....

Speaking to CNBC’s Squawk Box, Albert pointed out that the oral medication which is currently being designated as antiviral candidate PF-07321332 could be used at home. This is unlike the traditional vaccine injection which needs to be administered at a hospital or a specially designated location. Sources to Android Police say Qualcomm is planning its own Android-based games console with a “less traditional form factor”. More specifically, it will likely be running a custom version of Android 12. The device itself will look like a thicker, bulkier smartphone. It will also come with detachable controllers much like the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. It will also be packing a 6000mAh battery with Quick Charge. Another similarity to the Nintendo Switch is that this Qualcomm device will have the ability to output to an external display....

However, the new SoC still carries plenty of features from the original Snapdragon 7c. In fact, the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 is not exactly an all-new release but is deemed more as a generational update or in other words, a refresh. Based on their specs sheet, the only noticeable difference that we can easily spot between these two processors is the fact that the Kyro 468 octa-core CPU within the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 is slightly faster at up to 2....

On target for rollout in 2023, Oryon is expected to replace the Kryo CPU that Qualcomm has been using on Snapdragon products since 2015. Made its debut through Snapdragon 820, Kryo has ushered Snapdragon into the 64-bit era by replacing the previous 32-bit Krait CPU.
